Portland, Oregon loves their basketball team, the Trail Blazers. And Delta Dental, one of the main sponsors of the Trail Blazers, wanted to show appreciation to the strong fanbase with an opportunity to capture fun moments at each home game. So, they approached The SnapBar with an idea...
In Moda Center, the home of the Portland Trail Blazers, Delta Dental created a corner of the stadium just for fans. And in that corner, there’s an opportunity to take photos with a wall mounted SnapBar Selfie Stand.
This Selfie Stand would be branded with Portland Trail Blazers overlays and provide a unique experience for all fans attending home games.
So, in April of 2018, the Portland Trail Blazers, sponsored by Delta Dental, started a 15-month subscription specifically for fans of the basketball team to take photos of themselves on gameday.
Delta Dental and the Trail Blazers wanted everything to be as branded as possible.
So, The SnapBar provided a custom microsite where fans could access the images from any device with the Portland Trail Blazers' name and logo.
This microsite also allows fans to share their photos directly on social media instantly!
Also, due to this being a long-term, multi-season subscription, The SnapBar worked with both Delta Dental and the Portland Trail Blazers to create different overlay options to keep images fresh and interesting.
Over 14 months, there have been 4,595 photos taken during the 82 regular season home games and 8 playoff games.
These photos have been shared 6,585 times earning 1,653,242 social impressions.
The SnapBar loved getting the chance to provide playoff-centered overlays and give fans a chance to celebrate such an awesome accomplishment of the Portland Trail Blazers.
